It is said that Canada does not happen by itself. Few could be more aware of this than Dave Forget. As director of business affairs at Telefilm Canada, he was in a position to help design and implement several key mechanisms for public investment in Canadian screen productions. When Dave joined the DGC as its director of policy in February 2015, the timing could not have been more auspicious, as the Canadian regulatory environment was on the cusp of a seismic shift.
